Notice of Construction - Portage Road from McLeod Rd to Burning Springs Hill

Niagara Parks, in partnership with the City of Niagara Falls, will be installing a new watermain along Portage Road between McLeod Road and Burning Springs Hill. The work involves the installation of a new watermain, including excavation, placement, connection and commissioning of the system within the project area.

The work is scheduled to commence on Monday, July 20, 2026, and is estimated to be completed on Friday, September 18, 2026.  Hours of construction are expected to be on during the work week Monday - Friday from7:00am to 6:00pm, weather permitting

Traffic Considerations may involve lane restrictions in place along Portage Road between McLeod Road and Burning Springs Hill for the duration of the installation and will be controlled by a flagging operation.
