Notice Information

Hydrant Flushing

The City of Niagara Falls Fire Hydrant Flushing Program began on March 30, 2026, and will continue through the fall of 2026. This work is carried out as part of a
scheduled preventative maintenance program to help maintain water quality and improve water flow throughout your neighbourhood.

The flushing area is bordered by Highway 420, River Road, Dunn Street, and Drummond Road (see attached map for further details).

Residents within this area may notice a temporary decrease in water pressure and could experience discoloured water during flushing activities. If discolouration
occurs, running a cold water tap closest to your water meter for a short period of time should help clear the water.

If you have any questions, concerns, or continue to experience issues following flushing activities, please contact the Municipal Service Centre at 905-356-1355.

The City’s Annual Water Report can be viewed online at City of Niagara Falls or in person at the Municipal Service Centre located at 3200 Stanley Avenue.
