Notice of Construction - Huggins Street

The City of Niagara Falls will be working on Huggins Street from Portage Road to Marlborough Place.   The main intersections with Huggins Street may also be impacted as well as Portage Road and Coholan Street.  The project involves sewer separation,  watermain replacement and road rehabilitation.  

The project is expected to start the week of June 8, 2026 and completed late December 2026, weather permitting. The work will be conducted by Alfidome Construction Niagara.

The City of Niagara Falls will make every effort to minimize the impact of the construction and restoration to the public by maintaining access for local traffic and emergency vehicles.  However, reduced traffic lanes, pedestrian route disruptions or detours and intermittent full road closures can be expected.  Please adjust your travel schedule accordingly for travel in this area.  We appreciate your patience during this work.
