Event End: Tuesday, June 30, 2026 11:00 PM
Notice Information
The City of Niagara Falls annual fire hydrant
flushing program began March 26, 2026, and will continue through fall 2026.
This work is part of a scheduled preventative maintenance program to help
maintain water quality and improve water flow in your neighbourhood.
Hydrant flushing operations will be moving into the
area bounded by Dorchester Road, Kalar Road, Townline Road South (TSR), and the
north city limits next week (see map for further details).
Residents in this area may notice a temporary
reduction in water pressure and may experience discoloured water during
flushing. If discolouration occurs, running a cold water tap closest to your
water meter for a short period should help clear the water.
If you have questions, concerns, or persistent water
quality issues, please contact the Municipal Service Centre at 905-356-1355.
The City’s Annual Water Report can be viewed online
at www.niagarafalls.ca
or in person at the Municipal Service Centre, 3200 Stanley Avenue.
Thank you for your cooperation.
