Notice of Construction - George Street

The City of Niagara Falls will be completing the watermain replacement and water service replacement, complete with all restorations on George Street (Stanley
Avenue to West Limit).

The work is scheduled to commence on May 11, 2026 and will be continuous until completion, approximately July 2026 weather permitting. Equipment will start
arriving on site as early as April 27, 2026.

At times it may be difficult to drive through the above location due to construction in progress. It is anticipated that one lane of traffic will be maintained during
construction with the exception of planned rolling road closures. The timing and limits of all road closures will be provided in advance.

While performing this work, minor water interruptions may occur, which will be short in duration.  The water may be slightly discoloured and off tasting after the interruption. This will disappear shortly after resuming use of the water. Running your cold water tap only, will help resolve the problem.
